The DYCP funded project, ‘We View Things Differently Now’ aims to capitalise on the renewed interest in analogue and historical processes and highlight photography’s preservation of the past, showing how viewing has changed with scientific and technological advances and social demands. The Alternative Photographic Processes course has allowed me to absorb the materiality and perception of early practices and look at the area of historical ‘performance of viewing’ to stimulate the production of new work.
